May 25, 2026- Faculty of Humanities, The Department of Eastern Languages hosted an academic service workshop titled “Utilizing AI to Enhance Teaching and Learning for Burmese Educators.” The event took place at Room HU 1307 and was broadcast live via Zoom to the Yangon University of Foreign Languages (YUFL) in Myanmar. The initiative aimed to equip Burmese faculty members with essential skills to integrate artificial intelligence into their classrooms. It also served to strengthen academic ties between the two institutions. Dr. Sutthiphot Pheeranawong, a lecturer from the Department of Linguistics, Folklore, Philosophy, and Religion, served as the keynote speaker.
