The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities was honored to be the opening speaker of the project and received a commendation from Ms. Kim Jung Suk or Kim Hae Won, a South Korean writer who is the author of the youth literature “The Run of May” as a lecturer to share knowledge and experience in writing creation.

On June 5, 2026, Onusa Suwanpratest, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Naresuan University, presided over the opening ceremony of the “Korean Young Adult Literature Translation Training and Workshop for Thai Learners,” organized by the Korean Program, Faculty of Humanities, at Suwanphingkarn Conference Room.
The event was honored by the presence of Ms. Kim Jung Suk, also known as Kim Hae Won, a renowned South Korean author of the young adult novel, “The Run of May”. She served as the guest speaker, sharing her expertise and experiences in creative writing, as well as providing valuable insights into the translation of Korean literature for project participants.
The workshop was supported by the Literature Translation Institute of Korea (LTI Korea), an organization under the supervision of the Government of the Republic of Korea. The initiative aims to promote learning in Korean language, literature, and culture while enhancing students’ competencies in translation and intercultural communication.
