Assistant Professor Dr. Onusa Suwanpratest, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, together with Dr. Suwannee Thongrod, Associate Dean for Administration, and faculty personnel, participated in the opening ceremony of the 22nd Naresuan Research and Innovation Conference

On 23 July 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Onusa Suwanpratest, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, together with Dr. Suwannee Thongrod, Associate Dean for Administration, and faculty personnel, participated in the opening ceremony of the 22nd Naresuan Research and Innovation Conference, held under the theme “Greenism for Inclusive Innovation.” The conference takes place from 23–24 July 2026 at the King Naresuan the Great International Convention and Exhibition Center (KNECC), Naresuan University, Phitsanulok.
The Faculty of Humanities played a prominent role in the conference by contributing to both the opening ceremony and the University’s research exhibition, reflecting its commitment to advancing humanities research, fostering community engagement, and promoting interdisciplinary innovation.
The Faculty’s Research and Academic Services Unit also showcased an exhibition highlighting area-based research conducted across Thailand’s Lower Northern Region. The exhibition featured selected projects funded by the Faculty of Humanities between 2019 and 2025, demonstrating the diverse research contributions of its academic staff and illustrating the Faculty’s continued progress toward its vision of becoming an internationally recognized center of excellence in humanities education and research that serves as a community learning space for all.
Another highlight of the conference was the exhibition of the commemorative publication series, “36 Years of Naresuan University: Nine Volumes of Knowledge, A Journey of Pride,” launched to celebrate the University’s 36th anniversary. The collection reflects Naresuan University’s enduring role as a hub for learning, knowledge creation, and the dissemination of scholarly work to society and local communities.
On 24 July 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Onusa Suwanpratest, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, together with Dr. Nattaporn Kaimook, Associate Dean for Research and Academic Services, congratulated Dr. Suttiphot Peeranawong, a lecturer in the Department of Linguistics, Folklore, Philosophy and Religion, on receiving a Naresuan University Research Excellence Award 2026.
Dr. Suttiphot was honoured with the Outstanding Young Researcher Award in recognition of his exceptional publication record in the Scopus database during 2025 in the Humanities and Social Sciences category. The award was presented during the 22nd Naresuan Research and Innovation Conference, held at the King Naresuan the Great International Convention and Exhibition Center (KNECC), Naresuan University.
The Faculty of Humanities extends its heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Suttiphot on this well-deserved recognition. His achievement reflects the Faculty’s continued commitment to advancing high-quality research and academic excellence, while contributing to the University’s growing impact on the international research community.
